it was discovered that you cannot have a comments module on the page AND one in the template.
Indeed, you can have as many comments modules as you want on a page.
I tried with Tabview and 3 tabs with the comments module in each tab.
Click on tab 3 and add a new comment, the pointer changes to a hourglass, just because the comments dialogue is opened in … the first tab.
