A website designed for mobiles, iPhones or Blackberries should not weigh more than 20KB.

What is the quickest implementation for a Mobile Wikisite?
Are there any conversion tools, plug-ins, 'APPS' one can use to achieve that, or whould that mean creating a totally new PARALLEL site for MOBILE USE ?
Your assistance & tips are needed, welcome.
Kind regards

No one interested in displaying your wikidot pages nicer on your smart phone?…
BTW, a native iphone/Android/Palm/WM app for wikidot will be fantastic, or a mobile-friendly web app… The coming API should be a start…

I think, the question is overseen on the how-to - therefore I repeat the question here in the discuss- forum:

Wikidot will shortly be implementing Twitter Bootstrap which will allow us to develop responsive websites on Wikidot.

Well i think the mobile discussion is going on everywhere. But mobile phone displays become so much better and bigger that nobody will discuss about this in the future. I use just my normal smart phone browser and cause i love to see normal website i hate this mobile view where you can not see the whole information without clicking thru a bunch of buttons.
F.e. i use a Experia Z and i write this post now just over the normal Firefox.
At least half of my audience uses mobile OS devices, but there is absolutely nothing here that supports how to alter an existing site to respond to the browser, including the scant notes about Bootstrap. I'm not even sure I can continue with Wikidot. -Chris
Wikidot is just getting revved up with Bootstrap. It still has some small issues but they are getting sorted out pretty quickly. Head over to Bootstrap Playground to learn more.

I want to make my sites mobile-friendly. I want to do this myself because I am a software developer and doing this myself is something I can brag about in my resume. :) I put "bootstrap" into the search field for this site and got no hits, even though it's used twice in this thread.

You may wish to investigate this new thing I made to help make the process of developing a mobile-friendly site much easier (:
That's an interesting observation, and it indicates that the Community site does not have any pages talking about Bootstrap even though Bootstrap was implemented a year ago! I will try to make a page later with relevant information.

By default, the search engine only searches "pages". All of the buzz and discussion around Bootstrap here onthe Community site has been in the forums so far. After getting your first set of search results, click the "pages and forum" or "forum only" radio buttons and search again and you'll get these results.
