Hello, I have applied a custom theme on my wikidot, but when I went to see it with an other computer, I just could not see anything from the theme. The text was there, no problem, but there was no css at all. I tried with an other random wikidot, which had a custom theme too, and same problem : I could not see any css on this second computer. I tried without AdBlock, and on Firefox and Chrome. On my own computer I use Firefox and Chrome too, so it can't be that… What could be the problem ??
It always helps if you can tell us which site you are talking about. But if it is http://neoastuces.wikidot.com then the theme you are using, paper trail, seems to be applied OK. Perhaps on the other computer try clearing the browser cache and refreshing, or perhaps there is something on that other computer related to the Firewall which is causing the problem. But certainly if it is that site I am seeing the css ok.

Sorry, I forgot to write it, but yes, it is about neoastuces.wikidot.com . My friend cleared the cache and refreshed, but it still does not work. What's strange is that he has no problem seeing the theme when it is a predefined theme, but each time I update the site with a custom theme, he can't see it.
I took some time to read the source code of my wiki on the computer on which it did not work. I've found a solution ! Instead of writing "@import url(http://icondeposit.wdfiles.com/local--theme/paper-trail/style.css);" in my custom theme css code, I replaced it by the true css code which can be found when typing "http://icondeposit.wdfiles.com/local--theme/paper-trail/style.css" in the browser. I guess the "@import" is not totally working on the two browsers I tried here. It may be kind of a bad solution, because now I have a lot of css code, but at least it works everywhere :)
In the long run you might want to have a page on your site to hold your css. This makes it quick and easy to change rules, properties and values which are implemented as soon as you save the page. And as it is on a page on your site it means you can revert to a previous version if something doesn't work quite the way you expected.
Have a look at http://community.wikidot.com/howto:flexible-css-putting-css-on-its-own-page
One advantage of this is that you can then use different css for different categories.

Thanks for the tip, I'll do it as soon as I can. Thank you for your help ! :)
Thanks for the tip, I am going to do as you say, it seems better. Thank you for all your help !
I have cloned a notebook site to help me keep my notes organized, but I don't like the yellow theme. How do I change the theme to a different colour, blue for instance.
Thanks
Myra
If you don't want to start changing the CSS directly then a way to do it is to import a theme from the http://themes.wikidot.com site.
Find the theme you want to use then go to your site manager (http://myrasnotes.wikidot.com/admin:manage) ->Appearance -> Themes. Make sure that _default is highlighted in the drop down list. Select the "Or use an external theme" radio button and in the box enter the link given to you for each theme on the themes site, for example http://themes.wdfiles.com/local--code/sky-blue. Save the changes then go back to your home page and you should find the theme has changed to the sky blue theme.

Myra,
If you go to http://myrasnotes.wikidot.com/admin:themes on your cloned site (the link is under Admin > Change Theme), you'll see that there are several color variations of that theme to choose from and instructions on how to apply them.
