I think that I remember seeing somewhere the ability or proposed idea to be able to use a MailForm module (possible in conjunction with a template to create a new page. Was I dreaming?

Adjusted it… did not see this till today…
allthough you thought it was a very good wishlist item… and you mentioned the posibility that reading only the emails that are send from a forum… misunderstandings can easely accour.

The use case is to create structured pages in the same way as NewPage today creates simple pages. It needs the NewPage automation design mde here: http://projects.wikidot.com/thread:110
E.g. I can submit a support request via a form that creates a page in a private category that the site members can discuss in. This replaces today's clumsy MailForm model for support.
