i sent an application to a site and the moderators didnt receive it i try and delete it and it wouldn't delete can you help me on this
You can apply for membership on a site, but the information of this "waiting" application is not done normally by email… the admins have to look in the site manager to see it. The Private Message they get in their Account-bar is another information about this.
Try to reach the admins/mods by Private Message - this has a better chance than "email".. ( look at the page system:members )

I have tried adding an email address in the side bar in the following two ways.
moc.elpmaxe|troppus#moc.elpmaxe|troppus
moc.elpmaxe|troppus#!em liame
But in neither of the cases the email address of the email me! link is visible in the side bar.
Please help.

Are you sure? If you “Preview” a page, the email link doesn't appear. But if you SAVE a page, and reload the page, the email address appears.

I tried saving the page and reloading it….but still it doesn't work. I see a blank space in place of the email address.

for some reason email addys can't be put in the side bar. i have no idea why.
but that might be by design, hence the default "contact " page

Infact - the email a - dress is not shown on the nav:side bae on opur community .- only on the page itself…( bottom !)

It's a bug in the Javascript code Wikidot wrote. You see, the email address does in fact show in the side bar. However, it is hidden because the Javascript code is ignoring it. For proof, look at the HTML source code of the page, and you will find that the email address is there.
I've just noticed that this bug also affects custom footers (there's a blank space below the phone numbers here) so I've raised it as a bug at http://feedback.wikidot.com/bug:122
