- thousands of kilometres between us, but with this wikidot, from who knows how many countries, and we can interact in thousands of ways. I am a teacher in Norway, and my user-name belonged to my distant ancestor. His name was William (Guillaume in French), he was almost certainly Breton himself as he was serving man (waiter) to Count Alain of Bretagne. The Anglo-Saxon monks trying to spell his name wrote it the way it probably sounded to them: "Whyomar".
Like Whyomar, maybe I can serve something up to interest you.
