A Wikidot template page is either a predefined model for easy and quick creation of pages which will have the same format and - in the case of live template - a way to apply a common layout to a specific category of pages.
Subsequent changes of a template do:
- NOT affect the previously created pages if the template name is linked by the site manager
- change all pages using the "Live" - "_template" ( have the same category) automatically to the new layout.
