As of today, whenever I go to log in to my wikidot account while using Firefox, it rejects the login and gives me a blank page that says only 'No valid session found.' Yesterday, I had no difficulty logging in. I haven't added anything to Firefox, or made any other changes; the only abnormal thing I've done in the last 24 hours is run an antivirus scan overnight. I tried clearing cookies, clearing private data, and reinstalling Firefox, none of which have had any effect.

I have no difficulty logging in while using Internet Explorer.

Does anyone have any ideas on what is causing this and how I can fix it?

Okay, so after several more permutations of trial and error, I've learned that logging in from https://www.wikidot.com/auth:login works correctly with Firefox, at least two times out of three, but any variation (such as the page you get from clicking on the 'login' link in the top-right corner of wikidot sites, e.g. https://www.wikidot.com/auth:login?origUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fstring-theory.wikidot.com%2F) doesn't work.

Also, since I forgot to mention it the first time around — the Firefox in question is Firefox 3.0, and the Internet Explorer is IE 7.0.

We've been reported about this issue. After long research, user fixed the problem by turning off NoScript in FF. Nevertheless I have no idea how he would even able to try to log in without JavaScript enabled. We will be monitoring this issue to find a solution, but for now we are sure that this is not a problem based on Wikidot, but on the client (browser, plugins, too strict security settings etc.).
