I received an application from user Peter Sheldon-Battle for the Save Our Service site (http://saveourservice.wikidot.com/). I can see his application listed in the Admin Panel under Current Member Applications, but I cannot approve his application. When I click the 'accept' button the 'Membership application - accept' dialog pops up but the whole page (everything) is greyed out. I cannot enter anything in the 'Reason' text box, neither can I click the 'Send decision' button.
What is very odd is that this user was able to post a comment on a blog post on the Save Our Service site (here http://saveourservice.wikidot.com/blog:5) BEFORE I APPROVED the application. Why was he able to do this? In the Admin Panel under Members List Peter Sheldon-Battle is NOT listed. Could it explain why I cannot now approve the application using the usual means in the Admin Panel? I have checked site permissions and confirmed that you have to be a site member to edit blog posts.
To make it clear, I have no issue with this member application. I would gladly approve it. His comment on the blog post was entirely correct and appropriate.
What should I do now?
