Wikidot Community

Yup, the service exists, it is called "Skype Prime", the link is: http://directory.skype.com/en/skypeprime.

What I am talking about is a platform within Wikidot which would have its own policies, some form of regulation of prices, ratings and most importantly percent of the money would go into Wikidot. Then users would be free to use whichever VoIP application they like most, not necessarily Skype.

Or it could be some sort of integration with Skype Prime or at least a list of the Wikidot experts available there.

Else, suppose I am a new user, willing to pay to somebody to teach me the first steps and I discover no offer like this on Wikidot. Would I be checking the Skype Prime directory, then? Most probably not. If there is no mention in Wikidot about experts available there, no link, no nothing, then why should I check it at all? Let alone the fact that probably very, very few people have ever heard about Skype Prime.

I wasn't suggesting it as an alternative. However, depending on how skype prime works, it might be a way for Wikidot (or some enterprising entrepreneur) to set up a local system without having to build everything (like how fees are assigned, how money is collected and distributed) from scratch.

It was my way of saying you've got a good idea, not a critique. =)
