I really don't know…. Here's another case: my colleague from the project uses Mozilla and, as he says, only sometimes he sees is lke this:

Now, I changed [[==]] sign, and he says he now sees it normally, but we don't know if it is because I changed it or just because it is, since earlier, as I already said, he saw it superimposed only sometimes, not always….

As far as IE user, I think he has the most advanced IE, since he uses Office 2007…

When I see him again, I shall ask him how he sees it now, when I changed this [[==]] sign…

(But I can't believe that the solution lies in something so simple… :):):):)))

Could it be the screen resolution?

Mine at work is 1204x768
Mine at home is 1280x800
My IE friend has 1280x1024 (I think!, I can't remember right now, bir I know it is not as mine)
My Mozilla colleague uses the same: 1280x1024

….

And this awful blue line around the picture in IE? It's a horror! Can't it be removed?

I've read the tutorial, I agree with Phil. It's wrong, 1em border size is like, around 16px. IE simply makes the blank 16px border blue (FF makes it transparent).

I would use style="border:4px solid silver" - defining the thickness, kind and color,
(if the syntax is correct here…)

Not "em" because this is depending on the "screeensize" and the "color" on the "browser" ( as Brunhilda detected) ..

As far as blue line is concerned, now it disappeared… I checked in IE in my computer at work and it is ok. I'll check it on my home comp when I get home, but I think it'll be ok.

Unfortunately, my IE friend that had the ovelapping problem is on vacations, so I cannot check now if it is solved with Phil's change … Guess I'll have to wait until he comes back…
