there doesn't seem to be a way to watch a site…is there?
there is a place in 'my account' to look at watched sites

I find the easiest for my own site is to access the RSS feeds:
Forum posts:
http://WIKINAME.wikidot.com/feed/forum/posts.xml

Per-page posts:
http://WIKINAME.wikidot.com/feed/forum/cp-NUMBER.xml

Site Changes:
http://WIKINAME.wikidot.com/feed/site-changes.xml

For the middle of these three - the per-page posts - I find the 'NUMBER' by accessing the forum, showing hidden forum categories (I guess you can only do this if you have admin status), clicking on the per-page category, and looking for the number in the address bar. I haven't tried this for someone elses wiki, but it looks like you can find a number by clicking 'discuss' on a page, then clicking the 'breadcumb' navigation thing at the top of that page.

Sorry - I know that last bit isn't very clear - but come back and ask and I'll try to say it better.

I got what i needed to know about this from a documentation or help or community page somewhere.
