Private forum threads

how can i restrict access to individual forum threads?

I have a wiki which is private and I would like to invite a few members. However, on the forum of my site, I have a couple threads discussing the potential new members which I would prefer they not have access to. I'd like to save the threads if possible instead of deleting them - is there any way to restrict viewing specific forum threads to specific members?

You have the same problem as admins with an open wiki and the wish to "hide" something ….

If you want a private-private forum the only possible way today is to create a second ( "private" !) wiki only allowed to the "privileged" members you want anf to create a second forum here.

I'm not aware of any way. However there is a petition for it here. By rating that page up, you let the powers that be know that's an important feature for you.
