Eventi in Italia

Hi everybody, I just started this new project of mine and I wanted you to know about it.
The name of the wiki explain itself: Eventi in Italia, wich literaly means "events in Italy".
The idea is to build a sort of portal where people can "publicize" the events in their cities, such as concerts, parties and so on.
I know most of you can't speak italian and because of that you can't join my wiki but I was wandering if you think this is a good idea to express the full power of a wiki.
What do you think of this idea?
