Given that a fully responsive design usually leads to unwanted compromises, I'm seriously contemplating running a mobile version and a desktop version of the same site, using the same address, in order to share a lot of the features which would be common to both.
In my unorthodox naivety, I imagine that I might simply build the mobile version using /m as the home page and naming/linking all pages with the /m suffix throughout the mobile version.
Two questions:
1. Is there an established Wikidot way for doing this already, e.g. preceding the site address with .m or such-like?
2. The crucial question - can I introduce an alternative top bar with the /m (or whatever) address links i.e. have one top bar for the desktop version, and another for the mobile version?
All of this assumes that it's impossible to use @media only screen on a page by page basis to make some sort of command such as: if >767px use page design "A" if <767px use Page design "B"?
