Some of my friends tried to subscribe to Wikidot, but the subscription form rejected their email address with "The email can not be sent to this address.". So I tried as well, with different addresses (@fastwebnet.it, @email.it, @katamail.com and others) and each time I had the same error. The "Invite by email" function doesn't seem to work either. Something wrong with the email-sending backend?

what kind of e-mail is it? the one's that work best is like hotmail ,aol,yahoo,and G-Mail ect.

I'm having the same problem with the invitees I sent invitations to. There is something WRONG!!!!!! This is the email that was rejected: moc.zajw|emantsal.laitinitsrif#moc.zajw|emantsal.laitinitsrif

It seems to be happening again. Neither AIM, Yahoo, or Gmail will work.

Confirmed… I have the same problem with Password recovery for my wife. It's google account and I think it's not actually a matter of email address. :-)

I'm not sure if the problem has already been addressed, but I was encountering the same difficulty while attempting to sign up through Firefox. I switched to Internet Explorer and the account creation process went without a hitch. Give it a try if you haven't already.

Just heard from a couple of users that they are facing the same problem. Now, I can't expect everybody to switch to Internet Explorer (which, personally, I think to be a bad choice anyway). Any comments on whether this is going to be fixed any time soon?

P.S.: Internet Explorer did not solve the problem for me either.

Hi, many people I know trying to join up have this same problem. I've tried to create accounts for them in both Internet explorer & firefox, they've tried using several email addresses…

Could we please have this problem addressed?
