I'm using ratings for a competition on CAPSoff.org. People are submitting their ideas, then getting their friends to register and downrate all other submissions.
I'd like an option to disable the 'rate down' option.
Second, I'd like to clear all 'rate down' votes off my site so the competition is accurate again.

Ok, today or tomorrow the rating system will be improved. I will let you know. And of course I will clear the "-" votes then.
update: this will be a part of a larger update to the software. the update will also include private backup capability. I will apply it tomorrow evening. As for voting — you will be able to choose between + or +/-.

done. now the "+ only" style of voting is default. this can be changed in the site manager.
please also check out the site manager » backup option. I suppose this should work fine and provide basic backup option.
