I agree. I would like to be able to make some pages visible only to my members, like "recent changes" for example, or admin or system pages…
On the other hand, I thought of something a little bit different… I thought of only link on navigation sidebar to be visible to memebers. If an outsider does not see it, he cannot open it either…

My wiki absolutely needs some pages that are only viewable to a subset of members. Currently my only option is to make the entire wiki private and possibly create a second public wiki… not optimal, as we all know.

Not every wiki has an entirely insync group, and it would be nice to allow for individual or group blogs, give someone authority over a single subforum without them being able to interefere in someone else's, and I'm sure there are other applications as well.

This feature would be great for us. We had as private site for several months and now want to make some of it public. The only course of action it seemed was to create a separate site. We did contact wikidot admin to see if they can clone our private site for us so that we have the revision history (etc) but we have not heard back from them. Even with this, splitting a site (with or without cloning) is an ugly process.
