When I try to save an individual navigation element for a determined category, I have to save it once per each character beyond nav:save before it actually takes the whole thing. I bet for developers it'll be an easy fix.
Intresting - could be unknown reserved naming-room?
i always called different nav-elements by their name first and than the different categories,
like in the handbook per different languages without any dificulties:
nav:side-de
nav:side-en, a.s.o.
and never tried to give them different names after nav:save…

I had the same problem just some days ago. I added a “nav:side-howto” page and tried to associate it with two categories. When it didn't work I checked back in Site Manager, Appearance, Navigation Elements, and instead of “nav:side-howto” it was saved there as “nav:side-h”.
It only worked after a lot of renaming, saving, and re-saving.
Well I just can't save the settings at all. Even it tells me "Saved", it actually doesn't. For example I tried nav:top-english, nav:top-en, nav:top_en, or even english:top, top_en. None works.
But if I click on your last contributions i can see your nav:top-english…ths other I havenot yet controlled…
is this woking now ?

Yes, I've edited the top-english page, but such page: http://superart.wikidot.com/english:test-page-with-category couldn't set to it then. However it works now! Thank you Helmut for your kindness.
I said it too early :( I edited a page nav:top-chinese and when I set the nav elements of category 'chinese', it cannot be set again… I guess there must be some bugs around this module. Usually it's hard to reproduce the bugs, but my problem is just I cannot avoid them :)
Figured it out that if I close browser (firefox), wait some minutes, then re-open the page and perform the modifications, it will be OK to save the settings. Hope that is a clue to help fixing the bug. Anyway, great job so far, man!
