I'm looking for a way to include the title of a page directly in a link referring to that page.
Currently I have several manully created links that look like [[[some-page | Title of some page]]], but I would like the title to be directly
retrieved from some-page.

The only thing I can think that comes near to what you want, is:

[[module PageTree root="system:join" showRoot="true" depth="1"]]

Unfortunately PageTree doesn't support depth="0", so the above will also show any child pages.
