I have to use firefox as an RSS reader. Any suggestions for a better one? I have to monitor the changes on about a gazillion forums / recent changes daily. Is there any RSS reader that will show me only the new posts since I last looked?

Get a Google account - set up the feeds to go to the home page. It'll send you an email (to the gmail account) when there's new stuff, I think. Nothing I'm subscribed to ever gets anything new.If you already have a Gmail account, just sign into iGoogle.
Works for me.
