Has The Hurl been featured? Just something cool about that one.
What about Tales of Aeldaria. I like their theme.

I do like my sites, and Fragmented Galaxy could use it, and so could the hurl, but the Beyond Protocol (not mine!) site looks very nice too.
Two votes for the hurl then? On grounds of sheer coolness of subject material?

Beyond Protocoll is not mine … the color is bad to read - only hacking attantion with BIG RED…
Not good designed. good perhaps for insiders . I jumped away after seconds.
For me a site is good if
This applies to Fragmented Galaxy too… not good to read and not fast to understand..
( but could be my eyes are old and tired, and my brain too ?)
Most of this wikis have their members and they know what they are visiting!
I personally like light on dark far better than dark on light, but some people find it hard to read.
I just think Vimes has done some nice themes (I like them anyway), and thought maybe I should bring some attention to them. When I looked through the default themes, I saw no light on dark, so I assumed it was original. Also, it has a good amount of content.
And yes, FG needs a good summery. I'm been trying to get our guys to write one for a while now… Thanks for the feedback.
I'm not really voting for anyone here, just linking the wikis I have seen. (Not many)
How about the community or hand book?
Perfect. This is the order then :

I have enjoyed
Even I agree with Helmut's comments on readability, I like Fragmented galaxy because it shows that a wikidot site can looks totally different from a standard wikidot site.
Since Wikidot is an international initiative, let's start looking at non-English wikis as potential candidates for featured site (even if that involves creating a special category of "featured sites"). Here's my suggestion:
http://istorijska-biblioteka.wikidot.com/
Although I know nothing about the Serbian language, the site is very well-designed and looks very professional. [Although I'm currently concentrating on content-building and my sites' looks are rather plain, I keep a collection of links to nicely-done Wikidot sites for future inspiration, for whenever I have a chance to improve the aesthetics of my sites; this encyclopedia, http://istorijska-biblioteka.wikidot.com/, is certainly one of them.]
I agree with kawina , the serbian site is a good example .
Brunhilda was a complete newbee to wikidot when she starts the site… and now?
( Congratulatiosn to you, Brunhila! )
she would get my vote as well.
Hey - we have a new featured Wiki on the Front Page ( "What's hot?" ):
AND: 129.785 users !
Can You remember ? (21. Feb 2007):
No one has replied to this thread in a while, but I would humbly (maybe not so humbly, since I'm mentioning it myself) suggest Angels Online.
It's not complete, and probably never will be considering the sheer VOLUME of data, but is VERY functional, and is used quite a bit by the game's community.
