I was gonna bitch about this possibly being just an ad for vimeo, as the poster is not a member of any site.

On further investigation… i dont care. i enjoyed this..

One correction i wanted to make is to replace all &amp; with simply &
Like so:

This way all the attributes, like colour (red in this case), are active. The only thing cannot seem to fool here is the fullscreen which is important to me. It might have to do with the fact that this is an iframe.

i would also love to have a vimeo embed tag for my wiki as well. coincidentally, i work for vimeo as a backend developer (and use the service myself quite a bit)

i'm still rather new around here, but from what i gather, wikidot is open source, right? if so, i'd definitely be willing to write and submit a patch to get this going. send me a PM or something if you guys are interested.

great site, btw. this is the best hosted wiki i've found yet. clean it up a bit and put some polish on it and you guys are going to CRUSH. heck, i'd give you $5/mo or something like that for a pro account.

yes, that solution definitely works. i'm even using it =)

however, its not quite ideal. it uses an iframe which blocks off some of the vimeo player functionality (like fullscreen mode)

its not a huge deal, but if someone points me in the right direction, i'm willing to do the work. :)

Our wiki could really use this as well. They don't seem to work at all in tabs in firefox. Sad that we can't use HTML at all.

I came up with a temporary solution.
Come on and give us real video embeds please. Youtube is trash.

Those allow you to do what the iframe does, as the iframe version does not appear to work inside tabs/included in firefox.
