Expanding the Glossary Snippets

Hi all,

I liked the simplicity of the glossary code on the snippets. However, the current limitation of the code puts all the terms in a single list. This is fine if you only have say 20-100 terms, but what if you had a lot more? I assume you would need to anchor it. Something like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Architectural_glossary

My girlfriend has spent the evening coding the anchors correctly, as you can see at: http://ocar.wikidot.com/test

But I can't figure out how to integrate it with the existing glossary code snippet. I like the ease of adding new terms, but it would be great to have the same organizational functionality as the example given.

1. ) http://ocal.wikidot.com/test - the site dioes not exist ?

2.) I had a short look on the page ( which says now does not exist) … it is the standard index (horizontal) for the starting letters of a big list..

But the glossary indexing is a little "hanging" on the category itself ( "glossary" - have a look on the "Glossary" on the left menu ).

Could be a solution to divide the category into different ones:

• gloss-a:address;
• gloss-i:ipl;
• gloss-u: url ; and so on

This makes it easy to generate a "big" list -collections of the 27 "sub" categories -

- but this creates problems with the tag - cloud of the categories - this would need a "sub"-start- glossary page ( box) too per sub-category.

3.) on wikipedia all the sorts, section headers and entries are made manually!
( click on edit to have a view - and later cancel!)
