I have been searching for a code snippet which will help me create a toc. There isn't any thread related to this, the documentation provided is quite confusing. Can someone please help me with the code snippet?

We finally figured it out. Take a look at our wiki page http://roparwiki.com/wiki:iitropar
click on edit and you will see the code.
Apparently, we just have to put [[toc]] and then use a + sign to start the toc. Asterisk denotes the topics. A peep into our code will get you started. Let me know if you need help.

This creates the ToC of that page on the positin where you insert this code.
If you mean an Overview over your wike than you nead the module "ListPages" ( http://www.wikidot.com/doc-modules:listpages-module)

I finally figured out how to include a toc, but the doucmentation in the link wasn't very useful (documentation: http://www.wikidot.com/doc-wiki-syntax:table-of-contents). Is there anyway we can include an illustrative example on this link?

I just added a quick, simple example using the sample code in the docs. Much of Wikidot's documentation lacks examples and I find it a bit frustrating as well.
If I ever find time, I'll try to update where things are lacking. If you have specific suggestions, post them here in the forum and I'll try to tackle them first.
