I'd like to be able to filter the list of changes to display those made by a specific user. That would be a really nice feature.

Click on her/his name and than recent contributions …

Click where? If I click on them in the Site Members or when looking at the page history, I do not see an option to see the recent activity for that user.

on the page history -
Click on her/his name (user-id) and than "recent contributions" …
