Have you heard about the Occupy Wall Street protests? Do you follow Anonymous? Are you fed up with corruption within government and corporations?
A lot of people (i.e. the media, politicians, etc.) are dismissing the #occupywallstreet movement by saying we have no objective, no demands and no direction. Lets show them that we are capable of democratically determining our own fate: [Declaration of 99][http://declarationof99.wikidot.com] Please participate and forward the link if you agree with the notion of a wiki document, open to editing by all, to decide what kind of message to send congress.
My goal is not to push any particular political belief. I do not care if none of my own opinions remain after the 1000th edit to the wiki. What I want is for people to come together and transform our many ideas into one unified voice/document. What good is complaining about all these problems if we aren't suggesting solutions? And what good is a solution if it only represents the left, or the right, or some other fringe group? We have to sit down and talk to each other, decide what is best for all of us, and take the power of government back into our own hands.
We can't protest forever. If we don't take the opportunity we've been given to change the direction of our country, we will have done a great disservice to ourselves, our children, and our children's children. Now is the time to act. Will you join me?
