So. I've decided to use the built-in forum to note the updates made to the wiki (our community uses an external forum for our general nonsense). What I was intending was to include the RSS feed from this in the nav:side bar. Which, amazingly, I managed to to do without bothering you all.
That being said…
I was hoping the feed module would offer a ticker type option for scrolling (see the Twitter one to the left on this page?). Evidently, it doesn't. So I had a little wander around t'internet and have found some lovely widgets that do just that. Just one problem. The %%content%% of the forum posts (category: news, thread: updates) isn't displayed; only the post titles. Not what I want :(
The link I've been using: http://cityofangelsmud.wikidot.com/feed/forum/t-389915.xml
Following this template: http://wiki-name.wikidot.com/feed/forum/t-thread-nr.xml
..which, according to the info at http://community.wikidot.com/help:rss, should be 'any new forum posts to thread number thread-nr'
Am I targeting the wrong feed, or am I just doomed and under-caffeinated? :D
