I can't seem to export the http://www.wikidot.com/feed/watched/page-changes.xml feed using google reader/igoogle and bloglines. I type in my password and it displays on firefox, but when it gets imported, I get the following

"(title unknown)" has no unread items

for google reader, and similar messages for other rss readers. It works fine with firefox live bookmarks though. Oh yea, it is also a private wiki.

I'm using Firefox 2 if that matters.

Can anyone help?

I had the same problem. The feed requires http authentication, which I believe Google Reader does not support. You can get around it by using http://freemyfeed.com/ - alternatively if you want an online aggregator that *does* support http authentication then have a look at http://www.newsgator.com/

I tried to use the Google Reader and it didn't work as you described. However, I couldn't change the RSS feed to use any other reader. When I tried to go to feed/admin.xml, it redirected me to the google sites automatically.

I used to get the option to change to different read. Any idea.

I found the problem. It was my FireFox. I set the Feed in my feed/admin.xml to "Alway". So, it changed my FireFox setting under "Tools/Options/Feeds". I just changed it back to "ask me which Feed Reader to use.

Now, I can change between Live Bookmarks, Yahoo, Google and Bloglines. I still need to figure out how to use FeedBlitz to get email notification.

Ok, it was an really educational experience. Finally, I was able to get the RSS feed working with feedBlitz. The Firefox default feed reader options won't work.

I had to create an account on FeedBlitz and use the username and password provide by the wikidot to authenticate.

When you go to "site manager/Notification", you will see the following username and password.

Use the following data for authentication:
* username: moc.oohay|ssreddAliamEruoY#moc.oohay|ssreddAliamEruoY
* password: xxxxxxxxxxx

After you create an account on Feedblitz, you will add the wikidot RSS feed under "My account/Subscription Center". At the bottom of the "add subscription" page, you will put the username and password of the wikidot.

Username: moc.oohay|sserddAliamEruoY#moc.oohay|sserddAliamEruoY
Password: xxxxxxxxxxx

It works for me.
