Yes, Derick O had deleted (by editing out) the contents of his original post on this thread and there were no subsequent comments, so there was no reason to keep the thread.

I had a copy of his question ( in the mail )ands asked hom in a PM why not use the site manager for his "hide of the bottom bar" …
In the meanwhile he has found the appearance - toolbars - and setup his wiki.
He explained his rude tone because of an emotion and asked to forget it…
