Cloning site with > 100 pages

Hello,

I want to clone my (private) site but got a message that this was not possible for sites larger then 100 pages. I'm a professional user and am disappointed that i can't clone my site for testing purposes before i use the changes on the "real" site. Please delete this strange restriction!

PS would love to see a more advanced version of the backup possibilities also !

Hi,

I have the same problem, more than one year later. I wanted to know if there is already a solution to the cloning problem. I want my site to be tested but not the real one. Is there a solution? I don't mind if it cost money, I just want to give other people the possibility of testing without "messing out" the original site. The site will be used in an european project for biomedical research.

There was a wish for this that was rejected. I too would like to have a way to clone larger sites. It's possible to do this with the API and at some point I think we'll see an app that makes this possible.

I understand the potential problem with server load, but I would think there's a way to implement this where the task could be designed to run at a pace that wouldn't kill server performance. Making it a feature for Pro (paid) users would make sense. Maybe the limit could be raised incrementally based on subscription level.
