First, thanks for your help!

After copying your code, looks better, but still got this following error:
Sorry, no match for the embedded content.

For Item 2), I could not understand, I thought I just need to copy your code to
my _template. Maybe, this caused the above error message.

For Item 3), I went to the Site Manager -> Appearance -> Theme, first, but could not see how I can change; then I went to Navigation elements side menu, then choose blog, set no individual navigation elements. After done, I checked again my blog, seems the left side side menu still there.

Any suggestions?

Look at your code on the blog:_template page and look again at helmuti's code above. In the [[embed]]..[[/embed]] tags you've just got plain text not the addthis code he gave you.

The navigation/date/calender of the blog is inside the page "nav:side". So if you are not going to display this original navigation, you will loose that feature of the template.

Now if you are not satisfied with the fact that it is on the left side of the page… you can alter this by putting some css in your theme, or by changiung the theme settings of your site in the site manager.

I assume you did not alter anything there up till now.

Since you are using an older theme, you should alter your theme in the site manager.
Select appearence —> custom theme —> press button "create a new theme". Give it a name like "my adjusted theme" or something you recognize afterwards. Select now as a basetheme "cappucino nav bar on right" and save this.
Now select from the site manager menu: Appearance —> themes —> choose then on the page "build in theme" and select from the list the theme you just created (probably at the end of the list)
Save it

Now look at your site again… the changes should have taken effect.
