Summary:

I put a vertical one, and it turns into a horizontal one...

On the right side of the page, I put two Amazon widgets and I swear I put them as vertical ones. Now they changed th themselves to horizontal ones. I did apsolutely nothing, but they changed. This one is called Carousel Widget, but the same happened with the Slideshow Widget which I put in the first place, and then replaced by a carousel one (i liked it more).

Why is this happening? I also have a Slideshow vertical Widget here, and it works well.

If it's the ones on the right of the screen then I am seeing them as vertical.

By the way one of your divs has [[div style="float:page center;.... There is no such CSS property:value - you can't float center. You need to use margin: 0 auto which you've also added into the div, so you can remove the float: page center

Yes, Rob, I have just seen it it is back in normal. I don't understand why this happens.

So float:page center does not work in div? Well it does not work in tables, either. Maybe we should ask from developers to fix it.

Haha, on this occasion Float: page center is not something the wikidot developers can fix. Float:right and float:left are valid CSS but float:center is an invalid CSS value - it just doesn't exist. You could perhaps write to W3C to try to get it included in CSS4 :)

Oh… :( But this is not logical. How then you put DIV in the center? They made left, right but not center????

Yes, that's right. Margins were thought to be better or easier to control. And also because center is not a direction.

Because you've used margin-left: auto and margin-right:auto. That has the effect of centering the element that it is applied to (a div, image etc). That is what W3C expect people to do to center elements.

Oh, you are right (as always!) :)

OK, now I understand! float:right/left, but if I want it in the middle, then margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto.!!!

Something like margin:0 auto; has the same effect. The 0 (or whatever figure you want) is for the top and bottom margins, and the auto is for both left and right margins.
