The solution provided here: http://community.wikidot.com/howto:sortable-tables isn't efficient in the slightest. It goes against what wiki stands for. The content should be editable by all user and I should have to download the file, modify it, delete the old file, upload the new file, and all that just to add a new row or modify some data. In fact, following this example, one could have a workaround for almost anything. All one has to do is create it's html and frame it.
This is a feature that is very useful and should be implemented. Even more than this, one should be able to add the sortable functionality to any column in a simple table (and in an advanced table too).
I don't believe this should even have to be voted and should be added directly on the to do list.
I respect the work of the people who worked on the workaround and is not my intent to insult anyone. I am simply trying to say that the request shouldn't be labeled as fixed because of the workaround.
If this makes it in the wish list, one can write any text on the request.
