Have you heard about this or perhaps are already participating?

It's currently in limited preview. I watched the "loooooooong video" (1:20) last night and it is quite impressive! My son-in-law got an invite from a friend of a friend of his brother's and has been playing with it for a little while. I have a feeling Google has another huge hit on their hands with this one.

Once this goes live, it'll be interesting to see how we might use this with Wikidot. If you can make the time, I highly recommend watching the video.

Yes, I watched the whole video a few months ago :) Very, very long… seemed exciting at the time.

Having had a developer's preview ever since then, it's worn off a bit. It's exciting at first, but I can't honestly see it being as ground-breaking as I originally thought it would be.

You might find some insight into why I don't think Google Wave is going to be so widely used here. It's interesting as a technical demo but fails to expose patterns that help people organize properly. That is my opinion today, in any case.
