Forms and Page Content
I have a number of blog entries but I want to add some form data to them. Is there a way to keep and use the %%content%% data while also allowing for form field entry?

I believe it would work if you never intend to edit the old blog posts again, but as soon as you edit and save the old content would be overwritten.
One way to do it properly would be to migrate the old pages to the new Data Form format (the API can do this).
How many blog posts have you created so far (approximately)?

(account deleted)One thing to keep in mind if you migrate the data to new data form pages is that you can't preserve created_at from the original pages. If the creation date is important, you should add that as a data form field for sorting and filtering.
Maybe Shane has an API trick up is sleeve where he could grab the existing pages and convert them to data forms and preserve the original creation date. It's been a while since I messed with the API, but I think that should be doable (download the original page content, set up the data form template and then write back the content so it's formatted as a data form page).
Yes that was my intention - editing the pages to make them comply with the new data form template. Therefore creation date and all previous revisions would remain intact.
However, depending on how many blog posts there are it might be just as easy to migrate by hand.
