This problem occurs when using a code insert via TamperMonkey to upload more than 1 image to a page, but also when I use the single file upload method that is avaible from wikidot self.

Yes, refreshing the page and trying again gets it done, second or third time around.

Probably related, even the simple act of saving a page edit change is occasionally taking 2 or 3 attempts to get the 'page saved'. The failed attempts do get a pop up message:

'The Ajax request failed' code: 500.
