Two weeks ago, I had created a long list of weapons for a game, with stats, and then I decided to add pictures for each of them. I put all the pictures in footnotes, so you could hover near the name of the weapon and see what it looked like.
It was wonderful as it was, but still I had a footnotes section at the end of the page that was like 10 times as long as the actual weapon list.
I thought hard and long on how to solve this… no, wait, that's not true, I started really searching for a solution 4 hours ago. So I searched the stantard sytax page, but all I could find was the [footnoteblock], much was not really helpful at first. After a while I thought of placing the [footnoteblock] into a collapsible block, and against all my expectations it worked!
So, all this long presentation of my argument was, well, a way to make you (yes, you that are reading) lose some time. Because that's what happened to me. I think there should me a mention in the footnotes section of [Wikidot Syntax] that says something like:
"If you want to use only the hover feature of footnotes, and don't want to see the complete list at the bottom of the page or anywhere else, just put the [footnoteblock] in a collapsible block."
So that's all, sorry if I've been too sarcastic but this took me 2 weeks to figure out. By the way, this is the page I was talking about: [Armi].
Keep up the good work, we're all with you, guys.
