I have a set of several images that I need 70% of the pages on my site to be able to access. Do I need to go to each page individually and upload them one by one? Or is there a way to upload them somewhere once so that the entire site can reach them?
Thanks in advance, trying to avoid some grueling labor here.
We on the community have all images and flles on the files page: http://community.wikidot.com/files from which it is easy to reach them on our site on every page.
I know , there is a limit for free accounts to store these images on your wiki and there are some possible storages where you can put your images to show them on your wiki.
In former times you could use flickr to store your images ( see documentation ) - but imagine the security problem if you get if (your) the storage of the images is not public available for other users..
Service is my success. My webtips:www.blender.org (Open source), Wikidot-Handbook.

If you want one image to be available across multiple pages, you just need to upload them once, then you can link them on every page where they are used. While files are uploaded per-page, they are absolutely not limited to being used there, it's more of a namespace if anything. (Also note that if the page is deleted, so are all its files).
