1. Why cant wikidot recognize the Klaviyo code within an html block so that I can put up a signup form? When I add the block, then check the source code on the side, it does not appear. Why?

1. https://static.klaviyo.com was perhaps blacklisted? not sure if this was real the reson, there is at the moment the spamkiller service not running… we have to wait for this again.
2. We had a lot of spam on community - there are not lots of membership application for the admins …the join screen is now under the menu Community the first entry..

There is so much weird crap going on with wikidot now I can't even keep up and I rarely post anymore because I know it wont do much good other than to vent… it's almost as if the owner has 100% abandoned this site. ;-) He should take the advice of someone that once said "you need to talk to your community, you need to care about them"… hmm, now who said that I wonder? Trying so hard to remember. It's a shame really, he has success here, he could make it better, but instead he throws it away, and everyone here, in order to pursue other things that will probably never come close to the success he had here.
So, knowing full well that the Klaviyo issue probably wont be resolved, I tested two other services, mailchimp and sendinblue. I placed both forms on one page, except now when I go to edit the content, the sendinblue code does not appear which means I would have to delete the page and start over.
So this is the exact opposite of the problem I had with Klaviyo, in this case I can add it, it works, it appears, but I can't remove it through the editor. -_-
I swear, every year wikidot just gets worse and worse. And btw, I have intentionally with-held the link to the site I'm testing this at.
I've also noticed the site having more and more problems as time goes on, like the other user in this thread I'm also regularly experiencing issues with my site constantly lagging out.
I've also noticed quite a number of bugs that never seem to have been resolved with various renaming and inclusion functions that seem to be extremely trivial that have never been addressed.
I think the question is how we get our data off wikidot and where we go with it, because I'm getting pretty tired of the constant lag and editing desyncs.
Wikidot is experiencing lag a lot. Perhaps it's that. I think the javascript and html are maybe deactivating, temporarily. It might be a small error. How long have these problems been affecting it?

Wikidot has been on a steady decline for years with the owner being absent. (I've been here since 2007) So yes it might be laggy today, but honestly the lag is so sporadically common that I don't even consider it anymore. I run into a lot of issues anytime I'm editing, literally anytime I'm editing. Some of them are wikidot, some are Chrome. Some things within wikidot I don't even bother with anymore because I know it will cause issues with the site.
The owner Michał Frąckowiak doesn't care about his site or the user base which is really sad because once upon a time he did care. All he cares about now is doing nothing but still able to collect a little money from ad revenue and very little money from pro/pro+ accounts. He can't even be bothered to login to give perms to people that have volunteered to assist with spam.
There are volunteers here that care more about his site and the user base than he does and I believe that all of the well-versed coders that were here early on have all left (I don't blame them). I could provide a laundry list of issues but these days I don't have the patience for that so instead I chime in every so often when my frustration peaks.
People that can help with the ever-decaying wikidot site need full access to everything, including the source. And now I've been having the same issue all this week, with random lines of wiki syntax I add. In this case. What is seen in the edit box does not reflect what is seen on the site.
Used to be, I could edit on the fly and then see changes and then immediately edit or revert again. Now it takes fucking DAYS for edits to all line up, either on the site, or in the edit field, or in some weird ass combination. And for some reason, wikidot is deciding all on its own now to save drafts, which still doesn't matter in terms of the issue(s) listed above.
Where is Michał Frąckowiak? Is he in jail? Is he passed out on drugs all day and night? Is he even alive?
