Hello, I'm Uni. I have come to ask about the Community Sites; we have applied to convert our Wiki into a Community Wiki, but it has been many months (unfortunately, without news), and we are not sure how to forward the process or even if we did the process properly.

How long are we expected to wait, and who should we contact to find out if / where we are in line?

If master admin is lost than you have only the possibility to create a new site with a name near the old one, copy all the source pages manually to the new one and make a change to the home page to redirect automatically to the new one.
Who reads the old one is going to the new one .
I had this todo 10 years ago with a private site of my class , when master admin was lost forever.
You can also try to insert ina page a clone site command, but this copies only first 100 pages.
