It's really tedious fixing backlinks of pages. Why does the site tool to fix dependencies cause the url to show up-like-this? It seems like I can only use the tool to fix pages that had alternate text for their link, so it's not a very useful tool.
please - give us an example!

Okay, say I have a page called "Page to Be Renamed". I have another page called "Backlink1" that contains the link [[[Page to Be Renamed]]]. If I rename "Page to Be Renamed" to "Page that was renamed" and try to fix the dependencies using the tool, the link on the page "Backlink1" will be changed to [[[page-that-was-renamed]]]. It will show up with all of those hyphens. I don't want that to happen. See http://wqa.wikidot.com/page-that-was-renamed and http://wqa.wikidot.com/backlink1.
Thanks for the explanation!
The problem is that the title used as link is working ("page to be renamed" in the source of version 1 [[[Page to Be Renamed]]] ) because of all searches for links replace spaces with hyphen and than can find the URL-name of "page-to-be-renamed".
After renaming the backlink1 content ( source) to the new link existing [[[page-to-be-renamed|]]] ( notice the "|" after the new replaced page name !) there is only the possibility to insert your wished title ( not name - without hyphen).
I am sorry, but at the beginning all page names used were 99% without hyphens and this problem was not given at thois time ( I believe, that this is the reason why this was never changed )..
