Allow nice arrows
Arrows are useful shorthand. For example, compare
"A leads to B leads to C which gives D" with "A —> B —> C —> D" … just imagine that the arrows look nice ;)
Latex allows nice arrows:
(1)\begin{align} A \rightarrow B \rightarrow C \rightarrow D \end{align}
(2)
\begin{align} \leftarrow \; \Leftarrow \; \rightarrow \; \Rightarrow \; \leftrightarrow \; \Leftrightarrow \end{align}
So does Microsoft Office.
Maybe these typographical niceties already exist or are easy to add?
