Hello!! I'm working on a little wiki for a hobby, and would like to keep it private for now, including the pictures. So I've put the pictures in a private flickr album. Wikidot Syntax says it's possible to link to a private flickr image if you have "the secret". What is the secret? Is it some string of characters I find on my flickr site? In the syntax section this is what it says, "format: flickr:photoid_secret example: flickr:149666562_debab08866 description: displays image from Flickr and links to the original Flickr page; if the secret is provided the image is available despite being marked as non-public"
So my question is, where did "debab08866" come from in the example??
Thanks!!
- displays image from Flickr and links to the original Flickr page; if the secret is provided the image is available despite being marked as non-public …
This depends ob the status of the image/picture on Flickr - if non-public ( = privat or secret), than such photoid_secret can help - this only seeable within your own account on Flickr.
Try the normal flickr:id ( flickr:photoid ) as argument if your album on flickr is normal "public".

My album on Flickr is private. I know the "photoid" of the image, but what do i type for the "secret"? In the example given in Wikidot Syntax, they write "debab08866", but where did that come from? Thanks for the help!
At this point I cannot help anymore … I have no flickr account .
But I made some google searches with "flickr secret-id of non-public image"
and got some interesting answers.

But: Since the overtake of flickr in the last time I do not know if the old documentation is correct till now.
I would read https://www.flickr.com/services/api/flickr.people.getPhotos.html and give the [[html]] block to call in an extra window an api a try.
