You and I have both been here since 2007. During that time I've seen wikidot improve A LOT. I remember when there was no such thing as an html module, I and others had requested it many times. I also remember the time before there were data forms, that too was something I, along with others had requested. I remember the time before there were if tags, something else I and others thought would be great.
I spend all day online because it's part of my job. I always see issues with the 30+ online services I use and during that time I've bitched and moaned more times that I can recall. In two cases I was actually paid to alpha test services and provide feedback and when I did, no one cared.
Of all those times, the only service that I've ever used that ever bothered to listen and implement changes based on my criticism, is wikidot. Sometimes it takes a while, like with the new controls we have for watchers, and sometimes it only takes a few days, like with the what's hot feed. I hope the site does not stagnate but I will say this, if the staff of wikidot decided to never improve the site again, it will still be the most responsive online service I've ever used.
So yeah, I do think a lot has been done. But I'll still complain when I see something I don't like depending on how much it effects me.
