How to check generate code adsense?

Well, I am still strugling with the adsense no pageviews isseu. Michal wrote me a couple of days ago I should go to the source of any page in my wikidot site, then look for the adsense block and check my ID. he explained it should be sth. like 'pub-XXXXXXXXXXXX' and should match the one displayed in the upper right corner when logged into AdSense (at Google).

So, it wasn't hard to find the source of any page on my wiki, and it was also easy to find the adsense block in that source, but I don't see the/my pub code displayed. If you guys do the same > find source of a page > look for adsense block + pub code, does it look something like: 'pub:XXXXXXXXXXXX'?

its there on your shriven site. BUT… you wont see it if you are logged in you need to be logged out

Thnx Phill, logged out I could se the pub code correctly. So, everything seems to be OK at wikidot. The problem muist be at Googles side. Maybe I just have to w8 a little more. maybe I insert adsense too soon, when te site was still under construction. I just w8 and I let you know how things work out.

I cannot find any adsense block on your site http://schrijven.wikidot.com/

and: I always thought YOU have to place the adsense blocks anywhere on your site?

from the doc: http://www.wikidot.com/adsense :
predefined and custom ad placement — put ad units wherever you want on your pages

Have you place the unit anywhere?

Or shoiuld it be under your content?

EDIT: Phil is very correct - it is onyl viewable ( by the NEW DEFAULT) to anonymous only!

I can not find any adsense unit CODE on your pages inserted…. Where do you want to see them?

the reason you cant see it when logged in is because of:

enabling ads for everyone in site manager will enable you to see the code in view source.

so as i see it IS there, and it matches the code on one of my sites.

a few days ago i clicked on a number of pages on the shriven site, as its against the terms and conditions i did not click on any ads, (as true as i am sitting here riding my bike) and i am now wondering if it does not register clicks from logged on wikidot members!!!
There is only one way one testing this…
and i am now doing it :-)

not only for testijng purposes, but I am searching for a printing service too….
