Operation timed out and to report a bug message
I am sorry, when I make a test with "test" on your wiki I got the same message
when I make the same test on our community site I got the result in 3 sec with hundreds of pages..
I think this depends on where your wiki is located and if the lines are ok between your station and your wiki.
I cannot help in this case…
edit I used our page http://community.wikidot.com/search:site/q/background ( where the google search is at this moment not working..
edit2 When I startet the search on your wiki with the same parameter. I git th answer after 4 sec with more than 3 pages of listed items found

and I made the same experiece … the length of the searched word make a difference
"test" faild
