I tested your http://comicbooks.wikidot.com/system:list-all-pages with Firefox, and the first time it took about 10 seconds.
But, I did the same with IE6 a few minutes later and it displayed in an instant. Thanks to a caching system, I think.

I would like to know who have a bigger (public) wiki in term of number of pages and whether bigger wikis do not see problems of performance when using the pages or listpages modules.
