Sorry, I had to deal with some things related to Wikidot and it took me much more time than I had expected. Certainly doing all the things myself (e.g. development, support, contacting people, maintaining software/hardware) is not a good solution for a longer term. Wikidot grows undoubtedly and I am trying to figure how to fix the big picture.

Hopefully it will be solved soon.

BTW: I am not a PhD student in astrophysics anymore. I have resigned last September after almost 4 years spent at the institute and switched to Wikidot development as it seemed much more promising at the time ;-) I believe it still is!

he probably just extended his 'long May weekend' that we currently enjoy in Poland.
it started last friday (27.04) and lasts until the end of this week (6.05).

during the period, universities are closed (at least for students)

Trying to contact Mr. Frackowiak via some communications channel exterior to Wikidot.com, i came across an article dated August 21 2006, stating that "Michal Frackowiak is a 28-year old professional web developer and a PhD student at the Polish Academy of Sciences. He lives and works in Torun, Poland." I surfed to the site of the Polish Academy of Sciences and searched for Michal Frackowiak. There is no Frackowiak in the Academy's members list.

Thank you. I was wondering myself, as his absence is noticable! I'm glad he is living. ;-)

Although I hope this isn't a sign of his abandoning Wikidot. It is just to great an app to walk away from, IMHO.

Six days ago i created a new thread in the "General community discussion" forum category, namely "nudity, pornography and violent [sic] and the ToS agreement", raising some fundamental questions regarding Wikidot.com's Terms of Service agreement. After three days, when i had received no answer, i sent the question directly to Mr. Frackowiak. That was three days ago and i haven't received any answer from him yet. No one has posted any answer to my forum posting either.

Does anyone know whether Mr. Frackowiak is well? Has anyone heard from him during the past week or so?
