For straight downloads (saving files to their hard drives), I use mediafire. To embed media that isn't supported, I paste the code into a freewebs page and iframe it. I gather the code can now be pasted to html, uploaded to a page, and then iframed, but I'm not 100% sure on that, and it isn't any easier than my current solution so I haven't really played with it yet.

tells you that you can embed google and you tube stuff, and odea for audio. Thats it. full stop.
You may be able to use iframe for other stuff. http://snippets.wikidot.com/code:include-any-page refers.

If this isnt good enough for you then wikidot is not for you. Go elsewhere.
